NOTIFICATION

The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to make the

following rules further to amend the Puducherry Freedom Fighters’

Pension Rules, 1970 issued vide G.O. Ms. No. 51 Home (I), dated

20th July, 1970 of the Chief Secretariat (Home-I) Department, Government

of Puducherry and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No. 69, dated

the 30th July, 1970, namely:-

[PART–II

1. Short title and commencement.— (i) These rules may be called

the Puducherry Freedom Fighters’ Pension (Amendment) Rules, 2021.

(ii) They shall be deemed to have come into force with effect

from October, 2021.

(iii) Amendment of rule 5.— In the Puducherry Freedom

Fighters’ Pension Rules, 1970 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules),

in rule 5, (i) for the figures “` 9,000”, the figures “` 10,000”, shall be

substituted.

(iv) Amendment of rule 6.— In the said rules, in rule 6, (i) for

the figures “` 9,000”, the figures “` 10,000”, shall be substituted.
