online submission of the same to the Nodal Agency;

(ii) Implementation of the Scheme within the

scheduled completion period as per guidelines;

(iii) Appointment

Project

Agency (PMA);

(iv) Establishment of a Dedicated Project

Implementation Cell at District level and a

Centralised Cell at Head Office level;

(v) Submission of updated monthly physical and

financial progress of the project to the Nodal Agency

including its update on the web portal;

(vi) Ensuring that there is no duplication/

overlapping of works with any other Government of

India and State Scheme; and

(vii) Providing information to the Nodal Agency,

as and when required.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of

the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act,

1970 (Central Act No. 37 of 1970), read with Notification

S.0.1523, dated 30th March, 1971 of the Government of

India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi and in

supersession of the notification issued vide G.O.Ms.

No. 18/ AIL/Lab/G/2013, dated 22nd March, 2013, of the

Labour Department, Government of Puducherry, save as

respects things done or omitted to be done before such

supersession, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry,

hereby appoints the Officers specified in Column (2) of

the Table below to be the Licensing Officers to exercise

the powers conferred upon them and to perform the

functions assigned under the said Act for the area
