ELECTION TO STATE VETERINARY COUNCIL
NOTIFICATION
In pursuance of rule 3.8 of the Pondicherry State Veterinary Council Rules,
1988, framed under Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (52 of 1984), the following
notification is made, appointing the Election Schedule for Election to State
Veterinary Council, viz.,
1. Number of Members to be : Four (4)
elected.
2. Filing of Nomination papers
: Monday, the 27th December 2021
between 10.00 hours and 16.00 hours.
Venue: Animal Husbandry and Animal
Welfare Complex, Puducherry.
3. Scrutiny of Nomination papers : Wednesday the 29th December 2021 at
10.00 hours.
Venue: Animal Husbandry and Animal
Welfare Complex, Puducherry.
4. Withdrawal of Nomination papers : Friday, the 31st December 2021 before
16.00 hours.
Venue: Animal Husbandry and Animal
Welfare Complex, Puducherry.
5. Date and time for closing of : Monday, the 31st January 2022 at
Voting.
17.00 hours.

6. Counting of Votes
: Tuesday, the 1st February 2022 at
10.30 hours onwards.

Attention of the members is invited to rule 3.9 for presentation of
Nomination papers and requirements for valid nominations. Nomination shall be
made in Form-III and the members desirous to file nomination may obtain the
Nomination Form, from the Returning Officer, during the working days of the
Council.
