TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of the iron

scrap belonging to the Office of the Chief Educational

Officer, Puducherry from the authorized Firms/Persons/

Dealers in ‘as-is-where-is’ condition.

2. The tenders in plain paper should be sealed and

addressed to the Chief Educational Officer, Directorate

of School Education, Puducherry, duly superscribing on

the envelope as “Tender for iron scraps” and to reach

the undersigned on or before 17-03-2022 at 10.00 a.m. The

received tenders will be opened on the same day at

11.00 a.m. in the presence of the tenderers or their

representatives who are present at that time. If, the

tender opening day happens to be a public holiday, the

same will be opened on the next working day. Any

incomplete tender received is liable for rejection.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of

` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) in cash as earnest

money deposit before submitting their tenders.

4. Tenders received after the due date and time will

be summarily rejected.

5. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount immediately and clear all the scraps within

24 hours at his/her own risk and cost, failing which the

earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

6. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded after the tender sale is over/

finalized.

7. The intending tenderers (Valid licence holders)

can inspect the scraps during the office hours in the

Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Centenary Educational

Complex, Puducherry, with the permission of the Stock

Verifier between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on 15-03-2022

and 16-03-2022.

8. No claim on the quantity, quality and value of the

scraps will not be admitted once the tender is finalised.

9. The sale will be effected only to the highest

bidder.

10. The Government in no way is held responsible

for the safe custody of the scraps once the tender/

auction is confirmed.

11. GST as per the rate in force will be charged extra

on the amount finalized.

12. The following self-attested photocopy of the

documents/certificates must be enclosed alongwith the

tenders:

(i) Valid GST/Sales tax Certificate.

(ii) PAN Card and

(iii) Exemption from GST, if any.

13. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender or all the without assigning any

reasons thereof. The decision of the undersigned is the

final in case of any dispute.
