ORDER
Whereas, AYUSH and Allopathy Doctors were
engaged in Puducherry State Health Mission with the
starting remuneration of ` 25,000 and ` 30,000,
respectively with 10% annual increment on completion
of one year contract service.
2. Whereas, enhancement of honorarium from the
existing rate to ` 40,000 was accorded to the AYUSH
and Allopathy Doctors engaged on contractual basis in
Puducherry State Health Mission on par with the State
Government Contract Doctors vide G.O. Ms. No. 13,
dated 27-02-2017 of the Chief Secretariat (Health)
without any increment.
3. Whereas, the requisition made by the AYUSH/
Allopathy/Dental Doctors engaged on contractual basis
in the Pondicherry State Health Society for payment of
enhanced remuneration on par with the State
Government Contract Doctors working in the Health
Department of this Administration has been considered.
4. And therefore, the Hon’ble Lieutenant-Governor
is pleased to convey approval towards enhancing the
existing remuneration rate to ` 50,000 (Rupees fifty
thousand only) per month in respect of AYUSH/
Allopathy/Dental Doctors engaged on contractual basis
in Pondicherry State Health Society without annual
increment. The enhanced remuneration shall be with
effect from 01-04-2022.
5. The financial implication should be borne by the
Administrative Department within the existing allocation
of the Budget Estimate.
6. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance
Department vide their I.D. No. 644/FD/F3/2021-22,
dated 17-11-2021.

3. The above enhancement of remuneration
according to the categories of the incumbents/
employees subject to the following conditions:
(i) The annual increase should not be given on
the revised remuneration, but, on the old remuneration.
(ii) The incumbents/employees shall fulfill the
prescribed educational qualification in the Recruitment
Rules of the said posts are only eligible for the enhanced
remuneration.
(iii) The difference in the existing remuneration
and enhanced remuneration has been restricted to
` 10,000, respectively.
(iv) The enhancement of remuneration comes into
force with effect from 01-04-2022.

Administrative Department within the existing allocation
of the Budget Estimate.
