NOTIFICATION

The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to approve the

proposal for enhancement of Financial Assistance towards Funeral

Expenses of the Differently Abled Persons and for the said purpose

hereby makes further Amendment to the Scheme, “Perunthalaivar

Karmaveerar Kamaraj Scheme for Financial Assistance towards Funeral

Expenses of the Differently Abeld Persons” as notified in G.O. Ms.

No. 20/2004-Wel(SW-V), dated 10th June 2004 of the Chief Secretariat

(Welfare) and published in the Extraordinary Gazette Part-II, No. 8,

dated 16th June 2004 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules) as follows:-

AMENDMENT

In the said rules, in sub-rule (1) of rule 8 for the letters and figures

` 10,000 thereof, the letters and figures ` 15,000 (Rupees fifteen thousand

only) shall be substituted.

2. They shall come into force with effect from the date of

notification.

3. This sanction issues with the approval of the Competent

Authority. The advice of the Finance Department was conveyed vide

I.D.No. 4368/AC/FD/F5/A2/2021-22, dated 22-02-2022.
