NOTIFICATION
The Surakshit Matritva Aashwasan (SUMAN) has been launched for ensuring assured, dignified, respectful
and qualify health care at no cost and zero tolerance for denial of services, for every woman and newborn visiting
the public health facility in order to end all preventable maternal and newborn deaths and morbidities and provide
a positive birthing experience. According to this, the details of the facilities available in the Union territory of
Puduchery as classified under SUMAN similar to L1, L2 and L3 facilities defined in MNH Toolkit is given under.
