The notice of voluntary retirement given under

rule 48 of Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1972

TENDER-CUM-PUBLIC AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for offering highest rate

per lot for sale of unserviceable/damaged, obsolete

furniture items of each School under the control of

the Office of the Chief Educational Officer, Puducherry,

in “as-is-where-is condition”.

2. The details of the Schools and its unserviceable/

damaged, obsolete furniture items are furnished in the

Annexure–I.

3. The tenders in sealed cover should be addressed

to the Chief Educational Officer, Puducherry, and

superscribed on the envelope as “Tender for purchase

of unserviceable/damaged, obsolete furniture items”

and to reach the undersigned on 14-06-2022 between

02.50 p.m. and 3.00 p.m. The received tenders will be

opened on the same day at 3.30 p.m. in the presence of

the tenderers or their authorised representatives those

who are present at the time of opening of the tenders.

If, the tenders opening day happens to be a public

holiday, the same will be opened on the next working day.

4. Tenders received after the due date and time will

summarily be rejected. The tenderer who are submitted

tender in sealed cover only allowed to participate in the

public auction.

5. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of ` 5,000 (Rupees five thousand only) as earnest

money deposit. The earnest money deposit of the

unsuccessful tenderers will be returned immediately

after the tender/auction sale is over.

6. The tenderers can inspect the unserviceable/

damaged, obsolete furniture items available in Schools

during the office hours with the permission of the

Headmaster/Headmistress from 09-06-2022 and 10-06-2022.

7. If, the highest tender amount offered by the

tenderer is found to be not acceptable, the public

auction will be conducted on the spot, keeping the

highest tender amount as minimum bid amount.

8. No claim about the quantity, quality and value of

the materials will be admitted once the tender/auction

is finalised. This office is not responsible in any way

for the safe custody of the articles, once the tender/

auction sale is over.

9. The tenderers/bidders should submit the following

self-attested photocopies of the documents along with

their tenders, i.e., (i) valid GST Certificate, (ii) PAN

Card, (iii) Aadhaar Card.

10. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the

entire amount immediately and clear all the articles

within 24 hours at his/her own risk and cost, failing

which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited, GST

rate in force will be charged extra on the amount

finalised.

11. The undersigned reserves the right either to

accept or reject any tender or all without assigning any

reason thereof. The decision of the undersigned is final

in case of any dispute.

Sealed tenders are invited for taking on lease of

usufructs trees of 70 coconut trees in the Coir Growth

Centre, Chinna Veerampattinam, Ariyankuppam

Commune, Puducherry, for a period of 1 year from

July 2022 to June 2023.

2. The tenders should reach the General Manager,

District Industries Centre, Thattanchavady, Puducherry,

on or before on 20-06-2022 at 3.00 p.m. The tenders will

be opened by the General Manager in the Office of the

District Industries Centre at Thattanchavady, Puducherry

at 3.30 p.m. on the same day in the presence of the

tenderers who choose to be present.

3. Tenders received after the due date and time will

be rejected.

4. The intending tenderers may inspect the usufructs

trees in the Coir Growth Centre, Chinna Veerampattinam,

Ariyankuppam Commune, Puducherry, at any time

during the office hours.

5. The intending tenderers should submit the tenders

in sealed cover superscribed with the words “Tender

for the usufructs coconut trees in the Coir Growth

Centre, Chinna Veerampattinam, Ariyankuppam

Commune, Puducherry”.

6. The tenders should be in whole of rupees only.

The tenders from those who kept any arrears of

payment to be made to this office as on 20-06-2022 will

not be accepted.

7. (i) The intending tenderers should deposit an

amount of ` 250 in cash as earnest money deposit along

with the tender. The earnest money deposit will be

refunded to the unsuccessful tenderers as and when the

tender process is completed.

(ii) The successful tenderer should remit the

balance of tender amount immediately by deducting the

earnest money deposit amount.

(iii) An acceptance letter should be provided by

the successful tenderer within a week’s time. Only after

receipt of the same, the successful tenderer would be

allowed to enjoy the usufructs of coconut trees.

(iv) The successful tenderer shall also maintain

and utilize the Electric motor pump-set functioning in

the site of the Coir Growth Centre during the lease

period and return the same in good working condition

after the lease period.

8. If, the tender opening date i.e., 20-06-2022 happens

to be a holiday, the tenders will be accepted on the next

working day up to 3.00 p.m. and it will be opened at

3.30 p.m. on the same day by the General Manager,

District Industries Centre, Puducherry.

9. This office reserves the right to accept or reject

any or all the tenders without assigning any reason

thereof.

10. If, any dispute arises in this regard, the decision

of the General Manager, District Industries Centre,

Puducherry will be the final.
