invited by the undersigned on item-wise for the sale

of old newspapers, empty bottles (plastic, glass) of

this office as given below:

4.00 p.m. The tenders received will be opened on

28-07-2022 at 4.30 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers

or their representatives who are present.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of

` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) in cash as earnest

money deposit. The deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded after the finalisation of the

tender.

4. The items can be inspected during office hours

on any working day after 21-07-2022.

5. Sales tax/VAT/GST at the rate applicable will be

charged.

6. The successful tenderer should remove the items

within 24 hours after receipt of notice of acceptance

of his tender by remitting the total cost and Sales tax/

VAT/GST thereon at the prevailing rate. The

successful tenderer should make his/her own

arrangements to weigh the old items.

7. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any at all tenders without assigning any reason

therefor.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram are

invited from the tenderers for the disposal of old

newspapers (Tamil and English) belonging to District

Project Office, Samagra Shiksha, Karaikal, through

tender sale.

2. The rate should be quoted per kilogram for each

of the following items separately.

3. The tenders in sealed covers superscribed with

the words “Tender for the purchase of old newspapers”

should be addressed to the Assistant District

Programme Coordinator, Samagra Shiksha, Karaikal,

so as to reach this office on or before 28-07-2022

at 3.00 p.m. The tenders will be opened on the same

day at 3.30 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers who

are present at that time. If, the said date happens to be

a holiday, the tender process will be held on the next

working day.

4. Tenders received after the due date and time will

not be entertained.

5. The intending tenderers should deposit an earnest

money of ` 200 (Rupees two hundred only) in cash

before opening of the sealed tenders. The earnest

money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be

refunded after the tenders are opened and the

successful tenderer selected.

6. The intending tenderers may inspect the said

articles during office hours with the permission of the

undersigned between 3.00 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. during the

last 2 days before the date of tender sale.

7. The undersigned reserves full right either to

accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning

any reason thereof. Contravention of the rules of

Tender Notice will result to forfeiture of the earnest

money deposit.

8. The successful tenderer shall arrange to weigh the

old newspapers and to pay the cost thereof along with

applicable taxes and remove the same within 24 hours

from the time of the tender sale is over.

9. On failure to this arrangement, the earnest money

deposit paid will be forfeited. Once the items are taken

away after completion of the tender process and after

payment, this office will not undertake any responsibility

for loss, shortage. On complete clearance, the earnest

money deposit will be refunded.

10. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

Assistant District Programme Coordinator, Samagra

Shiksha, Karaikal, will be the final.

Terms and Conditions

1. The intending tenderers may inspect the items at

the office of the undersigned at any working days

between 10.00 a.m. and 04.00 p.m.

2. The tenderers may offer their tender rate both in

figures and words in the prescribed format in the sealed

cover.

3. The sealed covers should be addressed to the

Vice-Principal, V.N. Purushothaman Government Higher

Secondary School, Palloor, Mahe, duly superscribing on

the envelope as “Tender for the purchase of

unserviceable/obsolete canteen items” and should reach

the undersigned on or before 20-07-2022 at 2.30 p.m.

4. The tenders received will be opened on the same

day at 04.00 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers, who

are present at the time of opening of tenders. If, the last

date happens to be a public holiday, the same will be

received and finalised on the next working day at the

same time. The tenders received after the due date and

time will summarily be rejected.

5. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of ` 200 (Rupees two hundred only) as earnest money

deposit at the time of submitting the tender and will be

adjusted against the tender amount, in case of successful

tenderer and the earnest money deposit for unsuccessful

tenderers will be returned immediately after the tender

process is over/finalised. The tenders without earnest

money deposit will summarily be rejected.

6. The tenderer should submit with the following

self-attested photocopies of (i) Valid GSTIN (ii) PAN

Card (iii) Aadhaar Card.

7. If, any false representation is found during the

tender process, the tender submitted by him/her/them

will be cancelled and the earnest money deposit will be

forfeited.

8. If, any/all participants(s), misbehaves during the

tender process, the tenderer(s) will be removed from the

place, also their tenders will be rejected and the earnest

money deposit will be forfeited.

9 . The successful tenderer should remit the tender

amount at the Office of the V.N. Purushothaman

Government Higher Secondary School, Palloor, Mahe,

immediately after finalization of the tender.

10. The successful tenderer should pay G.S.T. in

force on the tender amount.

11. The entire articles being disposed off should be

removed within 24 hours after finalization of the tender

at his/her own risk and cost. No claim on the quantity

and quality of the articles will be admitted once the

tender is finalised.

12. This office will not be held any responsibility for

the items, once the tender is finalized and money has

been remitted to Government account.

13. The undersigned reserves the right to accept/

reject any or all the tenders without assigning any

reasons thereof, in the public interest.

14. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.
