TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental

Sciences, Puducherry, invites sealed tenders for disposal

of the following vehicle in “as-is-where-is” condition

through auction. The sealed tenders should reach the

undersigned on or before 22-09-2022 at 03.00 p.m. The

vehicle can be inspected at the Mahatma Gandhi

Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences Campus,

Puducherry, on any working day, from Monday to

Friday between 09.00 a.m. and 03.00 p.m.

2. Tenders should be accompanied by Tender

application fee of ` 315 (inluding tax) for the vehicle and

an earnest money deposit of ` 10,000 (Rupees ten

thousand only) for the vehicle, in the form of a Demand

Draft drawn in favour of the Dean, Mahatma Gandhi

Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences, Puducherry

and payable at Puducherry. Tender without application

fee and earnest money deposit shall be rejected.

3. The sealed tenders cover must be superscribed

with “Tender for auction of Car Ambassador (AVIGO)

Petrol PY-01-AC-5771” and addressed to The Dean,

Mahatma Gandhi Postgrauate Institute of Dental

Sciences, Puducherry-605 006.

Terms and Conditions

1. The sealed tenders must be superscribed as

“Tender for auction of a Car Ambassador (AVIGO) Petrol

(Model 2005) (PY-0l-AC-5771)” and must reach the

Dean, Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental

Sciences, Puducherry-605 006, on or before 22-09-2022 at

03.00 p.m.

2. Tenders should be accompanied by tender

application fee of ` 315 (including tax) and an earnest

money deposit of ` 10,000 (Rupees ten thousand only)

in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the

Dean, Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental

Sciences, Puducherry and payable at Puducherry.

3. The vehicle will be disposed off by sealed

tender-cum-public auction method.

4. The sealed tenders will be opened in the presence

of the tenderers at 03.30 p.m. on 22-09-2022 and public

auction will be held immediately.

5. Tenderers or their authorized representatives who

have quoted the rates only will be permitted to take part

in the auction.

6. Proof of residence like copy of Voters Identity

Card/Family Ration Card/ Bank Passbook/Aadhaar Card,

PAN Card should be attached with the tenders and

should also be produced at the time of public auction.

7. The highest rate quoted among the tenderers or

the upset prize set by the Institution whichever is

higher will be taken as the minimum rate for the purpose

of public auction and the vehicle will be disposed off to

the tenderer who bids the highest amount in the

auction.

8. The successful tenderer/bidder has to pay 50% of

the highest bid amount to the Institution Account

immediately on the spot after the tender is finalized and

the balance 50% plus sales tax should be paid within

24 hours from the time of completion of auction and

should take delivery of the vehicle, failing which the

earnest money deposit paid by him will be forfeited.

9. No bidder shall be allowed at any time on any

ground, whatsoever, after finalization of the bid amount,

any claim for cancellation, revision or modification of

the bid offered by him during the course of the auction.

10. In case, the date fixed for auction turns to be

a public holiday, auction will be conducted on the next

working day at the specified time.

11. The vehicle will be disposed off in “as-is-where-is”

basis.

12. Sales tax and surcharges, if any, will be collected

by Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental

Sciences, Puducherry.

13. The Auction Committee reserves the right either

to accept or cancel tenders/auction without assigning

any reason thereof. In all matters of dispute in the

auction, th decision of the Dean will be the final and the

decision of the Auction Committee will be binding on all.

TENDER-CUM-PUBLIC AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of

unserviceable/obsolete articles such as wooden, steel,

furniture items of the following Two Schools (i.e.,)

Government High School – Kovilpathu and Government

High School – Akkaraivattam under the control of the

office of the Chief Educational Officer, Karaikal,

in “as-is-where-is condition”.

2. The tenders in sealed covers should be addressed

to the Headmaster of the above-mentioned Schools and

duly sealed superscribed on the envelope as “Tender

for the purchase of unserviceable/damaged, obsolete

furniture items” and shall be received on or before

27-09-2022 up to 3.00 p.m. The received tenders will be

opened on the same day at 3.30 p.m. in the presence of

the tenderers or their authorised representatives who

are present at the time of opening of tenders. If, the

tenders opening day happens to be a public holiday,

the same will be opened on the next working day.

3. Tenders received after the due date and time will

summarily be rejected. The tenderers who have

submitted tenders in sealed cover only allowed to

participate in the public auction.

4. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) as earnest money

deposit at the time of submitting their tenders. The

earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers

will be refunded immediately after the tender/auction

sale is over.

5. The tenderers can inspect the unserviceable/

damaged, obsolete furniture items available in Schools

during the office hours with the permission of the

Headmaster from 22-09-2022 to 26-09-2022.

6. If, the highest tender amount offered by the

tenderer is found to be not acceptable, the public

auction will be conducted on the spot, keeping the

highest tender amount as minimum bid amount.

7. No claim about the quantity, quality and value of

the materials will be admitted once the tender/auction

is finalised. This office is not responsible for the safe

custody of the article once the tender/auction sale is

over.

8. The tenderers should submit the following

self-attested photo copies of the documents along with

their tender, i.e., (i) Valid GST Certificate, (ii) PAN

Card and (iii) Aadhaar Card.

9. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the

entire amount immediately and clear all the articles

within 24 hours at his/her own risk and cost, failing

which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited, GST

rate in force will be charged extra on the amount

finalised.

10. The undersigned reserves the right either to

accept or reject any or all the tenders/auction without

assigning any reason thereof.

11. The decision of the undersigned is final in case

of any dispute.

arrangements for weighing the articles and should pay

the full amount immediately and clear the items within

24 hours at his/her own risk and cost, failing which the

earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

8. The intending tenderers can inspect the articles

during office hours on 28-09-2022.

9. No claim on the quantity and quality of the

articles will be admitted once the tender is finalized.

10. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.

11. The rate for each item should be quoted

separately.

12. Sales tax/GST will be collected for the old

newspapers as per the prevailing rules.
