NOTIFICATION
In pursuance of the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India vide
Order, dated 21-02-2022 in the matter of SMW(C) No. 06/2021, In Re Children in
Street Situations with SMW (C) No. 04/2020, In Re Children in Need of Care and
Protection due to loss of parents during COVID-19, read with Letter No.CW-II/7/
2020-CW-II(e-85595), dated 24th February, 2022 of the Ministry of Women
and Child Development, (Child Welfare II Section) Government of India, the
Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to implement the "State Policy for
Rehabilitation of Children Residing in Street Situations (CiSS) in the Union territory
of Puducherry" appended to this Notification is hereby published for general
information of the public.
