TENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited for taking on lease Silk
cotton 7, Mango tree 12, Jack fruit 3, Coconut tree 4,
Tamarind tree 2, in the Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady,
Puducherry-605 009 for the period up to 31-12-2023.
2. The tenders should reach the Office of the
Director of Industries and Commerce, Industrial Estate,
Thattanchavady, Puducherry-605 009 on or before
15-02-2023 at 3.00 p.m. The tenders will be opened by
the Deputy Director of Industries and Commerce in this
Office at 3.30 p.m. on the same day in the presence of
the tenderers who choose to be present.
3. Tenders received after the due date and time will
be rejected.
4. The intending tenderers should submit the tenders
in sealed cover superscripted with the words “Tender
for the lease of usufructs trees in the Industrial Estate,
Thattanchavady, Puducherry”.
5. The intending tenderers may inspect the usufructs
trees in the Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady,
Puducherry, at any time during the office hours.
6. The tender amount should be in whole of rupees
only. The tenders from the tenderers those who are kept
arrears in this office as on date will not be accepted.
7. (i) The intending tenderers should deposit an
amount of ` 250 (Rupees two hundred and fifty only)
in cash as earnest money along with their tenders. The
earnest money deposit will be refunded to the
unsuccessful tenderers as and when the tender process
is completed.
(ii) The successful tenderer should remit the
balance of tender amount immediately, by deducting
the earnest money deposit amount.
(iii) An acceptance letter should be provided by
the successful tenderer within a week time. Only after
receipt of the same, the successful tenderer would
be allowed to enjoy the usufructs.
8. If, the tender opening date i.e., on 15-02-2023
happens to be a public holiday, the tenders will be
received up to 3.00 p.m. and opened at 3.30 p.m. on
the next working day.
9. This Office reserves the right to accept or reject
any or all the tenders without assigning any reason
thereof.
10. If, any dispute arises in this regard, the decision
of the Director of Industries and Commerce,
Puducherry, will be the final.
