NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of section 13 of

the Pondicherry Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1967 (Act 5 of 1967), ex-post facto

sanction of the Lieutenant-Governor, is hereby accorded for exemption from the

payment of road tax liable under the said Act in respect of the bus PY-01-AD-8805

belonging to Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education, Puducherry, with

effect from 10-03-2006 (i.e., the date of registration of the vehicle), so long as the

said vehicle is exclusively used for the transportation of School children of

Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education, Puducherry, free of charge.

The exemption from the payment of road tax granted earlier for the bus

PYQ 2468 belonging to Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education, Puducherry

vide G.O. Ms. No. 61/87-Wel.(Tr.), dated 15-09-1987 of the Welfare Secretariat

(Transport), Puducherry, stand cancelled with effect from 10-03-2006.
