NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 13 of the

Puducherry Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1967 (Act 5 of 1967) and in supersession

of the G.O. Ms. No. 16/Tr.Sectt./2021, dated 09-12-2021 of the Transport Secretariat,

Puducherry, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to extend the

time-limit for the payment of Motor Vehicle Tax (without penalty) prescribed, up to

31-03-2023 for which Tax to be paid from 01-10-2020 to 31-03-2023 with respect to

Stage Carriages, Contract Carriages including classified as Tourist Vehicles and

Educational Institutions Vehicles used or kept for use in the Union territory of

Puducherry.
