NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, read with the

Notification No. F.5/4/65-GP, dated 11th January, 1965 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India,

New Delhi and in partial modification of the Notification issued in G.O. Ms. No. 22, dated 25th February, 2015 of the

Directorate of Art and Culture, Government of Puducherry and published as a Supplement to the Gazette No. 9 of

the 3rd March, 2015, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby makes the following further Amendment to the

Group 'C' (Non-Gazetted – Non-Ministerial) post of Library Clerk Recruitment Rules in the Directorate of Art and

Culture, Government of Puducherry, namely:-

1. Short title and commencement.— (i) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry, Directorate

of Art and Culture, Group 'C' (Non-Gazetted – Non-Ministerial) post of Library Clerk Recruitment (Amendment)

Rules, 2023.

(ii) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Amendment of the Schedule.— In column (4) of the Schedule annexed to the Government of Puducherry,

Directorate of Art and Culture, Group 'C' (Non-Gazetted – Non-Ministerial) post of Library Clerk Recruitment

Rules, 2015, -

(i) for the column heading "Pay Band and Grade Pay/Pay Scale", the column heading "Level in the Pay

Matrix" shall be substituted ; and

(ii) in the entries against the said column, for the words, figures and numbers "Pay Band-1 ` 5,200-20,200 +

Grade Pay ` 1,900" the words, figures and numbers "Level-2 in the Pay Matrix" shall be substituted.
