New Delhi, dated 20th April 2023.

S.O. 1800 (E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1)

and (3) of section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), the

Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of

the Government of India, in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate

Change, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary Part-II, Section 3,

Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 38 (E), dated the 3rd January, 2022, namely:—

In the said notification, in Sl.No.7 for the entries in column (2), the entries

‘‘Director, Department of Science, Technology and Environment, Puducherry” shall

be substituted.
