TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilo are invited

from the tenders for sale, clearing of the old newspapers

belonging to the Directorate of Industries and Commerce,

Puducherry, in as-is-where-is condition basis.

2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Deputy Director, Directorate of Industries and Commerce,

Puducherry, duly superscripted on the envelope as

“Tender for purchase of old newspaper” and to reach the

undersigned on or before 7th July 2023 at 11.00 a.m. The

tenders will be opened at 4.00 p.m. on the same day in

the presence of the tenderers who are present if any, in

the chamber of the undersigned. The rate of each item

should be quoted separately.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an

amount of ` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) as

earnest money deposit to the Cashier, Directorate of

Industries and Commerce, Puducherry, at the time of

submitting their tenders. The tenderers should also

submit a copy of Aadhaar as Identity Card and address

proof along with copy of the GST Registration

Certificate, and the tenders without earnest money

deposit will summarily be rejected. If, the highest tender

amount offered by the tenderer is found to be not

acceptable by the undersigned, the public auction will

be conducted on the spot.

4. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers/bidders will be returned immediately soon

after the tender/auction sale is over, like wise, the

earnest money deposit of the successful tenderer/bidder

will also be returned after the official process is

completed in all respects.

5. The tenders received after the due date and time

will not be entertained.

6. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any or all tender(s) in part or whole without

assigning any reason thereof.

7. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the full

amount including GST as applicable under the rules in

force and clear the items within 5 days from the

Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Thattanchavady,

Puducherry, at his/her/their own risk and cost, failing

which the entire amount of earnest money deposit will

be forfeited.

8. Once the tender/auction process is completed, no

claim on the quantity and quality of the newspapers will

be admitted.

9. The intending tenderers can inspect the items

during the office hours in the Directorate with prior

permission.

10. The selected tenderer/bidder should make his/her

own arrangements to weigh the old newspapers.

11. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.

12. GST will be collected on the sale of old

newspapers as per the rates prevailing at the time of

disposal/sale and the tenderers/bidders registered under

GST alone shall participate in the tender/auction

process.

‘Sivacoumar’. Futher, in my Passport bearing

No. Z6246890, my name is spelled as ‘Ramalingam

Sivacoumar’ along with my father’s name.

Further, I state that my name has been spelled

as ‘Sivakumar’ in some of my documents. While

the name ‘Ek¬z\VÏ’ is spelled in the Family

Ration Card Smart Card No. 340000143725, but, in

the Family Ration Card No. 173644, my name is

spelled as ‘Ekz\VÏ’ and my name is spelled as

‘Ekz\VÏ’ in Document No. 537/2015 of Book-I of the

District Registrar’s Office, Puducherry. And my name

is spelled as ‘Ek¬z\VÏ’ in (1) Document No. 13442/

2015 of Book-I of the Sub-Registrar’s Office at

Oulgaret, Puducherry, (2) 14239/2015 of Book-I of the

District Registrar’s Office, Puducherry, (3) Document

No. 2782/2015 of Book-I of the Cuddalore Joint-I

Sub-Registrar’s Office, Tamil Nadu, (4) Document

No. 133/2020 of Book-I of the Cuddalore Joint-I

Sub-Registrar’s of Office, Tamil Nadu and (5) Document

No. 13391/2015 of Book-I of the Sub-Registrar’s

Office at Oulgaret, Puducherry. And further, my

name is spelled as ‘R. Sivakumar’ in the Approval

for Regularization of Plots bearing No. 471 at

R.S.No. 122/5, V.I.P. Nagar, Thavalakuppam Revenue

Village, issued by the Puducherry Planning Authority

(PPA), Boomianpet, Puducherry vide No. 3547/PPA/Z

(Individual/Plot) /2020/6416, dated 01-12-2020 as well

as ‘R. Ek¬z\VÏ’ in the Plot Approval Order, issued

by the BDO (VP), Panchayat Union, Cuddalore vide

Â.Ô.®ı.g4/4403/2018.

Therefore, I do hereby declare that all the spellings

of my name in English as well as in Tamil viz.,

‘Sivacoumar’, ‘Sivakumar’, ‘Ramalingam Sivacoumar’,

‘R. Sivakumar’, ‘R. Ek¬z\VÏ’, ‘Ek¬z\VÏ’, ‘Ekz\VÏ’

are referred, identified and relate to one and the same

person that is me, the deponent herein. In future also

if, anything as mentioned above, they referred,

identified and relate to are and the same person i.e.,

myself only. Hereafter, I shall be known and called

and my name will be spelled as ‘Sivacoumar’ only.
