extend the tenure of the First Council of Puducherry

State Higher Education Council (PSHEC) constituted

under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) Rashtriya

Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) vide G.O. Ms.

No. 122, dated 15-12-2014 of the Chief Secretariat

(Education), Puducherry, for a further period of one year

from 15-12-2022 or till the Statutory Council is

constituted after enactment of Puducherry State Higher

Education Council Act, whichever is earlier:

2. The powers and functions of the above Puducherry

State Higher Education Council (PSHEC) will be as

enumerated in the G.O. Ms. No. 122, dated 15-12-2014 of

the Chief Secretariat (Education), Puducherry.

the Puducherry Co-operative Societies

Act, 1972.

ORDER

Whereas, an order was made vide reference cited,

directing the winding up of the affairs of the

Pondicherry Fair Price Shop Employees’ Co-operative

Credit Society Limited, No. P. 722 (for brevity “the

society”);

2. And whereas, consequent to the winding up of

the Society, a Liquidator is to be appointed under sub-

section (1) of section 127 of the Puducherry Co-operative

Societies Act, 1972 (for brevity “the Act”), in consultation

with the financing Bank, to carry out the liquidation

processes for cancelling the registration of the Society;

3. And whereas, financing Bank, viz., Puducherry

State Co-operative Bank Limited (PSCB) was consulted

and the said Bank consented for the proposal of

appointing a Liquidator to the Society;

4. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred

on me under sub-section (1) of section 127 of the

Puducherry Co-operative Societies Act, 1972, read with

clause (a) of rule 66 of the Puducherry Co-operative Societies

Rules, 1973, I hereby appoint Thiru K. Dhanabalan,

Co-operative Officer as the Liquidator of the

Pondicherry Fair Price Shop Employees’ Co-operative

Credit Society Limited, No. P. 722 with immediate effect.

5. The Administrator of the Society is directed to

handover the charges of the Society to the said

Liquidator. Charges of the Society handed over and

taken over shall be informed to this office.

6. On taking over of charges of the Society, the

Liquidator shall arrange to discharge the liabilities of

the Society subject to availability of funds from the

realizable assets of the Society. On completion of the

liquidation process, the Liquidator shall submit a report

to the undersigned to make an order for the cancellation

of registration of the Society under section 129 of the

said Act.
