TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned for a

sale of unserviceable/obsolete articles of e-waste items

in a single lot system belonging to this Institution in

“as is where is” condition. The list of unserviceable/

obsolete articles of e-waste can be viewed on the Notice

Board of the Institution.

2. The participating tenderers are eligible only if,

they are authorized recycler and dismantler, authorized

by the Government for e-waste dismantling unit. The

intending tenderers may inspect the items at the office

of the undersigned between 10.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m.

on 22-08-2023 with the permission of the officer

concerned.

3. Sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Principal, Government Industrial Training Institute for

Men, T.R. Pattinam, Karaikal-609 606 duly superscripted

on the envelope as “Tender for purchase of unserviceable/

obsolete articles (e-waste)” and should be reached to

the undersigned on or before 23-08-2023 up to 3.00 p.m.

Tenders received will be opened on the same day i.e.,

23-08-2023 at 4.00 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers

or their representatives those who are present. If, the

scheduled date of tenders/auction happen to be a

public holiday, the date of receipt and opening of

tenders will automatically be postponed to the next

working day at the same time.

4. The earnest money deposit of ` 1,500 (Rupees one

thousand and five hundred only) should be deposited

along with the tenders. The earnest money deposit of

the successful tenderer will be adjusted against the sale

proceeds. The earnest money deposit will be returned

to the unsuccessful tenderers/bidders after completing

the tender/auction process.

5. If, the highest tender amount offered by the

tenderer is found to be not acceptable by the

undersigned, the public auction will be conducted on

the spot, keeping the highest tender amount as

minimum bid.

6. The following self-attested photocopies of the

documents/certificates must be enclosed along with

tenders:-

(a) Valid GST Registration Certificate

(b) PAN Card

issued by the Government

(d) Aadhaar Card/Valid Family Ration Card/Valid

Driving Licence

Tenders without these certificates/documents will be

rejected.

7. Acceptance of the tender/auction will be

intimated to the successfull tenderer/bidders after

finalization of the tender/auction. Successful tenderer/

bidders or his/her authorized person will be allowed to

clear/remove the materials.

8. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the

cost of articles plus applicable GST and make his/her

own arrangement to clear/remove the articles

immediately at his/her/their own cost. Otherwise, the

earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

9. This office will not be in any way held responsible

for the safe custody or any lose of the sold articles.

Once the tender/bid is finalized, no claim on the

quantity and quality of the materials will be entertained.

10. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any

or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof and

the decision of the undersigned in this regard will be

the final and binding on all the tenders/auction.

or their representatives those who are present. If, the

scheduled date of tender happens to be a public holiday,

the date of receipt and opening of tenders will

seven thousand and five hundred only) should be

deposited along with the tenders. The earnest money

deposit of the successful tenderer/bidder will be

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of old,

unserviceable articles like wooden items, stainless steel,

aluminium vessels, brass and iron items, etc., of various

Anganwadi Centres of Zone I and II (50 Centres) under

the control of ICDS Project V, Mudaliarpet, Department

of Women and Child Development, Puducherry, as

detailed in the Annexure, will be disposed off in

“as-is-where-is-condition”. The materials are kept in the

Community Hall, Subbaiah Nagar, Anganwadi Centre,

Thattanchavady, Puducherry-605 009.

Terms and Conditions

1. The intending tenderers may inspect the items kept

in the Community Hall mentioned above on 09-08-2023

from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. and 10-08-2023 from 10.00 a.m.

to 1.00 p.m.

2. The tenderers may offer their tender rate both in

figure and words in the prescribed format in a sealed

cover.

3. The tenders in sealed cover should be addressed

to the Senior Accounts Officer, Department of Women

and Child Development, Puducherry, superscripted on

the envelope as “Tender for purchase of unserviceable

furniture and utensils” and should reach this office on

or before 10-08-2023 at 2.30 p.m. The tenders will be

conducted in the chamber of the Senior Accounts

Officer, Department of Women and Child Development,

New Saram, (Opposite to LIC Office, Saram), Puducherry.

4. The tenders will be opened on 10-08-2023 at

3.00 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers those who

are present at the time of opening. If, the tender date

happens to be a public holiday, the same will be received

and finalized on the next working day at the same time.

The tenderers received after the due date and time will

summarily be rejected.

5. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of ` 2,000 (Rupees two thousand only) in cash as

earnest money deposit (EMD) at the time of submitting

the tenders. The earnest money deposit for unsuccessful

tenderers will be returned immediately after the tender

process is over/finalized. The tenders without earnest

money deposit will summarily be rejected.

6. The tenderers should submit with the following

self-attested photocopies, (i) Valid GSTIN (ii) PAN Card

and (iii) Aadhaar Card.

7. If, any false representation is found during the

tender process, the tender submitted by him/her/them

will be cancelled and the earnest money deposit will be

forfeited.

8. If, any/all participants misbehaves during the

tender process, the tenderer(s) will be removed from the

place, also their tenders will be rejected and earnest

money deposit will be forfeited.

9. The successful tenderer should remit the tender

amount to the Cashier, Department of Women and Child

Development, Puducherry, immediately after finalization

of the tender. Applicable rate of GST will be charged

on the tender amount as per rules.

10. The entire unserviceable materials should be

removed within 24 hours after finalization of the tender

sale at his/her own risk and cost. No claim on the

quantity and quality of the articles will be entertained

once the tender is finalized. This office will not be held

any responsible for the items, once the tender is

finalized.

11. The undersigned reserves the right to accept/

reject any or all the tenders without assigning any

reasons thereof in the the public interest.

12. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.
