NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, read with the

Notification No. F.5/4/65-GP., dated 11th January 1965 of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New

Delhi, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Government of

Puducherry, Town and Country Planning Department, Group 'C' (Non-Gazetted) post of Draughtsman Recruitment

Rules, 2014 notified vide G.O. Ms. No. 3/2014-Hg., dated 26th February, 2014 of the Chief Secretariat (Housing),

Government of Puducherry and published as a Supplement to the Gazette No. 10 of the 11th March, 2014, namely:-

1. Short title and commencement.— (i) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry,

Town and Country Planning Department Group 'C' (Non-Gazetted) post of Draughtsman Recruitment (Amendment)

Rules, 2023.

(ii) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. For the existing rule 2 of the Government of Puducherry, Town and Country Planning Department,

Group 'C' (Non-Gazetted) post of Draughtsman Recruitment Rules, 2014, the following rule shall be substituted,

namely:-

"2. Number of posts, its classification and Level in the Pay Matrix.— The number of the said posts, its

classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the

Schedule annexed hereto".

3. In the schedule to the Government of Puducherry, Town and Country Planning Department Group 'C'

(Non-Gazetted) post of Draughtsman Recruitment Rules, 2014, in column (4), for the existing column heading and

the corresponding entry relating thereto, the following column heading and the corresponding entry shall be

substituted, namely:-

"4. Level in the Pay Matrix : Level - 4".
