NOTICE
The Electricity Department, Government of Puducherry,
invites applications from qualified persons for
consideration of appointment for the post of Chairperson
in the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF) for
the Electricity Department, Union territory of Puducherry
for a period of 3 years. The Candidate shall be less than
65 years of age. The Candidate shall hold office for a
term of three years from the date of appointment or till
he attains the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier and
should possess the following qualifications.
Chairperson of the Forum shall be a retired District
Judge/Additional District Judge or a retired Judicial
Officer having at least 20 years of experience in legal/
judicial profession or a retired Civil Servant not below
the rank of a District Collector.
Or
Shall be a retired Officer of any State/Central Power Sector
Departments/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous
Bodies in Power Sector not below the rank of Executive
Engineer or equivalent possessing Degree in Electrical/
Mechanical/Electronics/Computer Engineering and
having at least 20 years experience or serving officer
of the power utilities not below the rank of Executive
Engineer.
The Pay and Allowances and other conditions of the
Chairperson selected shall be eligible to receive a
consolidated remuneration of ` 65,000 (Rupees sixty-five
thousand only) per month. They shall also be entitled
to TA/DA while out on duty as eligible to Class I
Officers of the rank of Deputy Secretary in the Central
Government. They shall also be entitled to 12 days of
Casual Leave in a calendar year.
The eligible Candidates who are willing to be
considered for the post shall apply directly to the
Superintending Engineer-cum-Head of Department,
Electricity Department, No. 137, Nethaji Subash Chandra
Bose Road, Puducherry-605 001, in plain paper with
details, (i) Name and Address, (ii) Attested Copies of
Educational Qualification Certificates, (iii) Experience
Certificate and (iv) Birth Certificate, so as to reach their
applications on or before 28-09-2023, 5.45 p.m.
Applications received without proof of educational
qualifications, experience certificate, etc., addressed to
any Officer/Office other than mentioned above and
after due date and time will not be considered.

solemnly and sincerely affirm and state on oath as
follows:
That I am the deponent herein and I am well aware
of the facts of the deposition.
I state that my name is mentioned as ‘S. Hariharan’
in my Aadhaar Card vide No. XXXX XXXX 9033,
issued by Unique Identification Authority of India.
I state that my name is mentioned as ‘Hariharan. S’
in my Pay Slip GPF No./NPS No. 110030641772, issued
by the Public Health Division, Public Works Department,
Puducherry and in my Bank Passbook, issued by State
Bank of India, Thattanchavady Branch, bearing
Account No. XXXXXXX7465.
I state that my name is mentioned as ‘Hariharan’
in my Elector’s Photo Identity Card No. UIJ0106633,
issued by Election Commission of India.
I state that my name is entered as ‘Hariharane’ in
my Birth Certificate bearing Registration No. P/1975/
03057, issued by Pondicherry Municipality, Puducherry
and in my Office Identity Card vide Employee Code
No. PH5757, issued by Public Health Division, Public
Works Department, Puducherry.
Further, I state that my name is entered as
‘«ˆ«´[’ in my Family Ration Card vide No. 059185,
issued by the Department of Civil Supplies and
Consumer Affairs, Puducherry.
Therefore, I do hereby declare that the abovesaid
names, i.e., ‘S. Hariharan’, ‘Hariharan. S’, ‘Hariharan’,
‘Hariharane’ and ‘«ˆ«´[’ are referred, identified
and relate to one and the same person, that is myself
only. Hereinafter, I shall be known and identified only
by the name ‘Hariharan. S’ for all purposes.
I hereby declare that I shall at all times hereinafter
in all records, deeds and writings and in all
proceedings, dealings and transactions private as
well as upon all occasions whatsoever use and sign
my name as ‘Hariharan. S’ in place and in substitution
of my former names. I hereby verify and confirm that
what has been stated above is true to the best of
my knowledge and correct, and nothing material facts
have been concealed thereon.
