ORDER

Sanction of the Lieutenant-Governor is hereby conveyed for the creation

of 15 posts of Pondicherry Civil Service and Non-Ministerial Group ‘B’ posts in the

Elections Department, Puducherry, as detailed below:

2. The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is further pleased to order that

the creation of 15 posts mentioned at para 1 of the Government Order is subject

to the condition that before filling up of the posts, Elections Department,

Puducherry, should ensure the availability of sufficient funds under the relevant

Head of Account to meet out the expenditure for payment of Pay and Allowances

for the 15 posts.

3. Approval of the Government of India has been obtained in the Ministry

of Finance vide ID No. 2933602/2023/E.Coord.I, dated 21-07-2023 of the E.Coord.I

Branch, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance.

4. The Pay of the Officers/Officials may be claimed under the Head of

Account “2015-Elections – 102 Electoral Officers – 102 (01) Electoral Officers – (01)

Puducherry Region – 01 Salaries” and Allowances may be claimed under the

Head of Accounts “2015-Elections – 102 Electoral Officers – 102 (01) Electoral

Officers – (01) Puducherry region – 07 Allowances”.

5. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide

I.D. No. 676/FC/FD/F4/A9/2023-24, dated 07-09-2023.
