NOTIFICATION

The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to eliminate

age-limit and extend the financial assistance to all the group from

childhood onwards to the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe members

who are unable to work for their earning due to Prolonged Diseases under

the Scheme “Grant of Financial Assistance to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled

Tribe Patients suffering from Prolonged Diseases, Rules 2001” and

for the said purpose, hereby makes the following amendment to the said

rules notified vide G.O. Ms. No. 10/2001-Wel.(SCW), dated 19-10-2001

of the Chief Secretariat (Welfare), Puducherry and published in the

Extraordinary Gazette of Puducherry, Part-I, No. 150, dated 30-10-2001

(hereinafter referred to as the said rules), namely:-

AMENDMENT

In the said rules, in rule 4(iv), for the words “All the age group

from Childhood onwards of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe

people” shall be substituted.

2. This notification shall be come into force with effect from the

date of issue.

3. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department

vide the I.D.No. 30537/FC/FD/F5/A1/2023-24, dated 04-10-2023.
