TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of

unserviceable/obsolete articles such as wooden, steel,

furniture, items of aluminium, stainless steel, brass and

Library books, etc., belonging to this Institution in

“as-is-where-is” condition.

2. The intending tenderers can inspect the items in

the premises of Government Girls’ Higher Secondary

School, Thiruvandarkoil, Puducherry, during office

hours with the prior permission of the Head of this

Institution and without any disturbance to the students.

3. Tenders should be addressed to the “Vice-Principal,

Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School,

Thiruvandarkoil, Puducherry-605 102”, duly sealed and

superscripted on the envelope as “Tender for the

purchase of old unserviceable/obsolete items” and shall

reach the undersigned on or before 19-01-2024 by 2.00 p.m.

The received tenders will be opened on the same day

at 2.30 p.m. in the presence of tenderers or their

authorised representatives who are present at the time.

If, the scheduled date of tender/auction happens to be

a public holiday, the date of receipt and opening of

tenders will automatically be postponed to next working

day at the same time.

4. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of

` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) as an earnest

money deposit (EMD) at the time of submitting their

tenders. The tenders without earnest money deposit will

summarily be rejected.

5. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be returned immediately after the tender

sale over, whereas, the earnest money deposit of the

successful tenderer will be returned after the official

process completed in all respects.

6. The tenderers should offer the rate for “the entire

items as one lot” in their tender, the public auction will

be conducted from the highest rate quoted by the

tenderers. The sale will be effected only to the highest

bidder.

7. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the

entire amount and clear the items within 24 hours at

his/her own risk and cost, failing which the earnest

money deposit will be forfeited.

8. No claim on the quantity or quality of the items

will be admitted, once the tender/auction sale is

finalised.

9. The GST in force will be applicable and charged

on the amount finalised.

10. The following self-attested photocopy of

documents/certificates must be enclosed alongwith the

tenders, viz.,

(i) Valid GST Certificate.

(ii) PAN Card

(iii) Aadhaar Card/Valid Family Ration Card/ Valid

Driving Licence.

The tenders without above-mentioned certificates/

documents will be rejected.

11. Tenders received after the due date and time will

not be entertained.

12. The undersigned reserves all the rights to accept

or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any

reason thereof.

13. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for taking on lease of

Silk cotton 7, Mango tree 12, Jack fruit 3, Coconut tree 4,

Tamarind tree 2, in the Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady,

Puducherry-605 009 for the period up to 31-12-2024.

2. The tenders should reach the Office of the

Director of Industries and Commerce, Industrial Estate,

Thattanchavady, Puducherry-605 009 on or before

12-01-2024 at 3.00 p.m. The tenders will be opened by

the Deputy Director of Industries and Commerce in this

Office at 3.30 p.m. on the same day in the presence of

the tenderers who choose to be present.

3. Tenders received after the due date and time will

be rejected.

4. The intending tenderers should submit the tenders

in sealed cover superscripted with the words “Tender

for the usufructs trees in the Industrial Estate,

Thattanchavady, Puducherry”.

5. The intending tenderers may inspect the usufructs

trees in the Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady,

Puducherry, at any time during the office hours.

6. The tender amount should be in whole of rupees

only. The tender from those who are kept arrears in this

office as on date will not be accepted.

7. (i) The intending tenderers should deposit an

amount of ` 250 (Rupees two hundred and fifty only)

in cash as earnest money along with their tenders. The

earnest money deposit will be refunded to the

unsuccessful tenderers as and when the tender process

is completed.

(ii) The successful tenderer should remit the

balance tendered amount immediately, by deducting

the earnest money deposit amount.

(iii) An acceptance letter should be provided by

the successful tenderer within a week time. Only after

receipt of the same, the successful tenderer would be

allowed to enjoy the usufructs.
