TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned for
sale of unserviceable/obsolete articles (normal waste)
items in a single lot system belonging to this ESI
Hospital in “as is where is” condition.
2. The intending tenderers may inspect the items in
the office of the undersigned between 10.30 a.m. and
11.30 a.m. from 18-01-2024 to 29-01-2024 with the prior
permission of the officer concerned. The sale of Tender
Form is issued on payment of ` 105 (Rupees one
hundred and five only) (non-refundable) from
18-01-2024 to 29-01-2024 up to 12.30 p.m.
3. Sealed tenders in the prescribed Tender Form
addressed to the Medical Superintendent, ESI Hospital,
Gorimedu, Puducherry, superscripted as “Tender for
purchase of unserviceable/obsolete articles (normal
waste)” should reach this office on or before 31-01-2024
at 12.00 noon. Each tenderer shall enclose a Demand
Draft for an amount of ` 5,000 (Rupees five thousand
only) drawn in favour of the Medical Superintendent,
ESI Hospital, Gorimedu, Puducherry, as earnest money
deposit.
4. Tenders will be opened on 31-01-2024 at 3.30 p.m.
in the office of the undersigned in the presence of the
tenderers who are present at the time of opening the
tenders.
5. If, the highest tender amount offered by the
tenderer is found to be not acceptable by the
undersigned, the public auction will be conducted on
the spot, keeping the highest tender amount as
minimum bid for auction.
6. The following self-attested photocopies of the
documents/certificates must be enclosed along with
tender-
(a) Valid GST Registration Certificate
(b) PAN Card
(c) Aadhaar Card/Valid Family Ration Card/Valid
Driving Licence

Tenders without these certificates/documents will be
rejected.
7. Individual/Partner of a Firm who have/has been
punished under Criminal Procedure Code or any criminal
case is under process is not eligible for participating in
the tender-cum-auction. Any false representation is
found during the tender/auction process, the tender
offered by him/her/them will be cancelled and his/her
earnest money deposit will be forfeited.
8. If, any misbehaves noticed during the tender
process, the tenderer(s)/bidder(s) will be removed from
the place of tender/auction also his/her/their tender(s)
will be rejected and the earnest money deposit will be
forfeited.
9. The earnest money deposit of the successful
tenderer/bidder will be adjusted against the sale
proceeds and the earnest money deposit of the
unsuccessful tenderers/bidders will be discharged
returned.
10. Persons other than the tenderer/bidder will not
be admitted at the time of opening the tender-cum-
auction.
11. Acceptance of the tender/bid will be intimated
to the successful tenderer/bidder after finalization of the
tender. Successful tenderer/bidder or his/her authorized
person will be allowed to clear/remove the materials.
12. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the
cost of articles plus applicable GST and make his/her
own arrangement to clear/remove the articles
immediately at his/her own cost. Otherwise, the earnest
money deposit will be forfeited.
13. The applicable GST on the sale proceeds may be
paid by the buyer (i.e., recipient) directly to the GST
accounts on reverse charge basis as per the notification
vide G.O. Ms. No. 4/2017- Puducherry GST (Rate), dated
29-06-2017 and G.O. Ms. No. 36/2017 - Puducherry GST
(Rate), dated 24-10-2017.
14. This office will not be in any way held
responsible for the safe custody or any loss of the sold
articles. Once the tender is finalized, no claim on the
quantity and quality of the materials will be entertained.
15. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any
or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof and
the decision of the undersigned in this regard will be
the final and binding on all the tenders.
