ORDER

Approval of the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is hereby accorded to

the Forensic Science Laboratory, Puducherry, to receive case exhibits related to

DNA Unit referred to them by the Courts concerned in the Union territory of

Puducherry and to examine the case exhibits and dispatch the findings/expert

opinion.

2, The Senior Analyst (Senior Scientist) who has been declared as

Assistant Chemical Examiner vide G.O. Ms. No. 49, dated 01-10-2013 of Government

of Puducherry, will act as Reporting Officer of the DNA Unit for the examination of

the case exhibits and dispatch the findings/expert opinion.
