NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20(1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2

of 1974), the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby appoints the officers mentioned under column (2) of the Table

in the Annexure as Executive Magistrates with effect from the date of the Notification, in respect of the area mentioned

against the corresponding entry under column (4) of the said Table and confers on them all the powers of an Executive

Magistrate under the said Code.
