NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 of Cr.P.C. read with
section 32 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974),
the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby appoints the officers mentioned under
column (2) of the Table in the Annexure as Special Executive Magistrates during
Pre-poll (18-04-2024) and Poll day (19-04-2024), in connection with the General
Elections to the Lok Sabha, 2024, in respect of the area mentioned against the
corresponding entry under column (3) of the said Table and confers on them,
all the powers of Special Executive Magistrate under the said Code.
