NOTIFICATION
The Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry is pleased to constitute the
Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) as indicated below for admission of
candidates to various Higher Education Courses and related works in Government
of Puducherry for the Academic Year 2024-25:-

2. The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is also pleased to designate the
following Officers as Coordinator (Admission) and Convenor of Centralised
Admission Committee (CENTAC) for the Academic Year 2024-25 as mentioned below:

3. The CENTAC shall notify the Information Brochure 2024-25 prescribing
the eligibility criteria and procedures for admission of candidates to various Lateral
Entry, Full-time/Part-time Postgraduate, Under graduate and Diploma Courses. The
CENTAC will also carry out counselling for the seats earmarked to Puducherry
Union Territory by Government of India in various Government Institutions all over
India and also for seats earmarked in Institutions within Puducherry Union Territory.
For the remaining courses, the concerned Admission Authorities/Committee as
mentioned in the Order No. 0004/DHTE/Tech/T3/2019-20, dated 11-3-2020 of
Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Puducherry, and subsequent
amendments issued to the said Order from time to time shall admit the students as
per the Guidelines specified therein.
4. The Chairman, CENTAC, shall call the Head of any College or subject
experts to the CENTAC meetings as special invitees, on need basis.
5. The term of CENTAC shall ordinarily be up to the completion of
admission process for the Academic Year 2024-25. Notwithstanding this,
the CENTAC shall continue till such time a new Committee is constituted.
