TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE
Public are hereby informed that the Tubeless
non-reusable condemned tyres of this office as listed below
will be disposed off in as-is-where-is condition by limited
tender-cum-auction sale on 11-07-2024 by 11.00 a.m.

Terms and Conditions
1. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the
Secretary, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Puducherry,
duly superscripted on the envelope as “Tender for
purchase of old unserviceable car tyres” and should
reach this office on or before 10-07-2024 by 5.00 p.m. The
tenders will be opened on 11-07-2024 by 11.00 a.m. in the
presence of the tenderers if any, in the Chamber of the
Secretary, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Puducherry.
2. The tender will be awarded to the highest tenderer
on the spot.
3. If, the highest tender amount offered by the
tenderer is found to be not acceptable to the
undersigned, then the public auction will be conducted on
the spot, keeping the highest tender amount as the
minimum upset price for bid of auction.
4. The intending tenderers should deposit an earnest
money deposit of 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only)
along with sealed tenders. The earnest money deposit of
the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded on the same
day soon after completion of the tender/auction sale.
5. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the
entire amount soon after the completion of the tender/
auction sale and should clear the sold materials at his/her
own arrangements/cost thereof, before 5.00 p.m. on the
same day, failing which the office will not be held
responsible either for the safe custody or for loss or
damage of articles once the tender/auction sale is over.
6. GST will be charged extra as applicable at the time
of tender/auction sale.
7. No claim on the quantity or quality of the articles
will be admitted once the tender/auction sale is over.
8. The intending tenderers can inspect the articles
during the office hours from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon on
any working day but on or before the date of receipt of
sealed tender at this office with the permission of the
undersigned.
9. The tenders offered after the due date and time will
be rejected.
10. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason
thereof and the decision of the undersigned in this regard
will be the final and binding on all the tenders. If, the
tender-cum-auction date falls on a holiday, the tender/
auction sale will be held on the next working day.
11. Along with the tender, a copy of all the following
self-attested documents should be submitted by the
tenderer.
(a) Aadhaar Card
(b) Valid GST Certificate
12. Individuals/Partner of a Firm who have/been
punished under Criminal Procedure Code/IPC or any
Criminal Case is under process, is not eligible for
participating in the tender-cum-auction. If, any false
representation is found during the tender process, the
tender(s) offered by them/him/her will be cancelled and
his/her/their earnest money deposit will be forfeited.
13. If, any or all participant(s) misbehaves during the
tender/auction process, the tenderer(s) will be removed
from the place of auction and also his/her/their tenders
will be rejected and the earnest money deposit will be
forfeited.
14. Any other person other than the tenderer or
his/her authorized person will not be admitted at the time
of opening the tenders/auction process.
15. This office will not in any way held responsible for
the safe custody or any loss of the sold articles, once the
tender in finalised. No claim on the quantity and quality
of the materials will be entertained.
