Examination Mark Certificates beyond the scope of recovery, the necessary steps have been taken to issue duplicate
certificates. If, anyone finds the original Mark Certificates, it/they may be sent to the Secretary, State Board of
School Examinations (Hr. Sec.), College Road, Chennai – 600 006, for cancellation, as it/they is/are no longer valid.

tender-cum-auction sale on 22-08-2024 by 11.00 a.m.

Terms and Conditions
1. The sealed tenders should be addressed to
the Secretary, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Puducherry,
duly superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for
purchase of iron scrap, sheet metal and plastic scrap”
and should reach this office on or before 21-08-2024 by
5.00 p.m. The tenders will be opened on 22-08-2024 by
11.00 a.m. in the presence of the tenderers those who are
present if any, in the chamber of the Secretary, Legislative
Assembly Secretariat, Puducherry.
2. The tenders will be awarded to the highest tenderer
on the spot.
3. If, the highest tender amount offered by the
tenderer is found to be not acceptable by the
undersigned, then the public auction will be conducted on
the spot, keeping the highest tender amount as the
minimum upset price for bid of auction.
4. The intending tenderers should deposit an earnest
money deposit of `1,000 (Rupees one thousand only)
along with the sealed tenders. The earnest money deposit
of the unsuccessful tenderers/bidders will be refunded on
the same day soon after completion of the tender/auction
sale.
5. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the
entire amount soon after the completion of the tender/
auction sale and should clear the sold materials at his/her
own arrangements/cost before 5.00 p.m. on the same day,
failing which the office will not be held responsible either
for the safe custody or for loss or damage of articles once
the tender/auction sale is over.
6. GST will be charged extra as applicable at the time
of tender/auction sale.
7. No claim on the quantity or quality of the articles
will be admitted once the tender/auction sale is over.
8. The intending tenderers/bidders can inspect the
articles during the office hours from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00
noon on any working day but on or before the date of
receipt of sealed tenders at this office with the permission
of the undersigned.
9. The tenders offered after the due date and time will
be rejected.
10. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all tenders/bids without assigning any
reason thereof and the decision of the undersigned in this
regard will be the final and binding on all the tenders. If,
the tender/auction date falls on a Public holiday, the
tender/auction sale will be held on the next working day.
11. Along with the tender, a copy of all the following
self-attested documents should be submitted by the
tenderer/bidder.

Valid GST Certificate
12. Individuals/Partner of a firm who have/has been
punished under Criminal Procedure Code/IPC or any
Criminal Case is under process, is not eligible for
participating in the tender-cum-auction. If, any false
representation is found during the tender/auction
process, the tender/bid(s) offered by him/her/them will
be cancelled and his/her/their earnest money deposit will
be forfeited.
13. If, any or all participant(s) misbehaves during the
tender/auction process, the tenderer(s)/bidders will be
removed from the place of auction and also his/her
tenders will be rejected and the earnest money deposit
will be forfeited.
14. Any other person other than the tenderer/
bidder or his/her authorized person will not be admitted
at the time of opening the tender/auction process.
15. This office will not in any way held responsible for
the safe custody or any loss of the sold articles, once the
tender is finalised. No claim on the quantity and quality
of the materials will be entertained.
