NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of

the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 (Central Act

39 of 1987) read with rule 4 of the Union territory of

Puducherry Legal Services Authority Rules, 1998 and on

the recommendation of the Hon’ble High Court of

Judicature at Madras, the Lieutenant-Governor,

Puducherry, is pleased to nominate Hon’ble Mr. Justice

S.S. Sundar, a Senior Judge of the High Court of Judicature

at Madras, as the Executive Chairman of the Union

territory of Puducherry Legal Services Authority,

Puducherry, with effect from 17-07-2024.

2. The sealed tenders shall be addressed to the

Superintendent of Police (Headquarters), Puducherry-

“Tender for purchase of Brown Colour Shoes” and to

reach the undersigned, on or before at 4.00 p.m. on

06-09-2024. The tender will be opened at 5.00 p.m. on

the same day, in the presence of the tenderers who are

present, at the office of the undersigned.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) as earnest

money deposit.

4. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded immediately soon after the

tender sale is over.

5. Tenderers should produce valid Identity Proof for

returning their earnest money deposit amount.

6. Tender(s) received after the due date and time will

be rejected.

7. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender without assigning any reasons thereof.

8. The successful tenderer should pay the full

amount immediately as and when call made and clear

the old items within 24 hours at his/her own risk and cost,

failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

9. No claim on the quantity and quality of the

articles will be admitted once the tender is finalized.

10. The intending tenderers can inspect the articles

during office hours in the Chief Stores, Gorimedu,

Puducherry premises.

11. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.

12. A separate rate must be quoted on each items.

13. The highest tender rate will be valid for six months

from the date of the issue of the acceptance letter by

the undersigned.

14. GST will be collected on the sale of old

Brown Colour Shoes as per the rates prevailing at the

time of disposal/sale. Tenders with Registered Goods

and Service Tax (GST) only must participate in the

tender.
