NOTIFICATION
The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to
declare that Saturday, the 07th September, 2024 will be
a Holiday on Account of “Vinayagar Chathurthi” for all
the Government Offices and Institutions including all
Public Sector Undertakings, Educational Institutions
(including Professional Colleges) in all the regions of
Union territory of Puducherry.
2. This leave is covered under Negotiable Instruments
Act, 1881.

PUBLIC NOTICE
In pursuance of Section 31 (1) of the Puducherry
Town and Country Planning Act, 1969 (No. 13 of 1970),
read with Rule 40 (3) of the Puducherry Town and
Country Planning Rules, 1974 and with the consent of
the Government, notice is hereby given that a
Comprehensive Development Plan for the Karaikal
Planning Area has been prepared for the entire Karaikal
Region comprising of Karaikal Municipality and
Commune Panchayats of Kottucherry, Thirunallar,
Nedungadu, T.R. Pattinam and Neravy. A copy of the
same is available at the office of Karaikal Planning
Authority, Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Administrative
Complex,
Madagadi,
Karaikal,
for
inspection
during office hours. The Comprehensive Development
Plan is also available in official website of Town and
Country Planning Department and the Karaikal
District administration viz., https://tcpd.py.gov.in and
https://karaikal.gov.in.
2. Objections/Suggestions in writing are invited with
respect to the said Comprehensive Development Plan
for the Karaikal Planning Area from the public within
two months from the date of publication of this Notice
in Official Gazette. Objections/Suggestions, if any, shall
be addressed to the Member-Secretary, Karaikal
Planning Authority, at the above address or at
[email protected] through e-mail.
