Puducherry, dated 19th September 2024.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders offering the rates per kilogram

(excluding GST) are invited from the tenderers for sale

of the following old items belonging to the Office of

the Deputy Collector (Excise), Puducherry, on

as-is-where-is condition basis.

2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Deputy

Collector

(Excise),

Puducherry,

duly

superscribing on the single envelope as "Tender for

the purchase of waste papers/records/vouchers etc.,"

so as to reach the Office on or before 15-10-2024 at

12.00 noon. The tenders will be opened on the same

day at 4.00 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers if any,

at the office of the undersigned. In case, the above fixed

date happens to be a public holiday the tender seal will

be opened on the next working day.

3. If the highest tender amount offered by the tenderer

is found to be not acceptable by the undersigned, the

public auction will be conducted on the spot, keeping

the highest tener amount as minimum bid.

4. The intending tenderers should deposit an

amount of

1,000 (Rupees one thousand only)

as earnest money deposit to the Cashier, Office of

the Deputy Collector (Excise), Puducherry, along with

the tender. Tenderers/bidders should submit a copy of

the Aadhaar as identity and address proof along with

copy of the GST Registration Certificate.

5. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers/bidders will be returned immediately after the

tender/bid sale is finalized. Whereas, the earnest money

deposit of the successful tenderer/bidder will also be

returned after the official process is completed in all

respects.

6. Tenders/bidders received after the due date and

time will summarily be rejected.

7. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the

entire amount at the rate applicable immediately and

clear the items within 17-10-2024 at his/her their own

risk and cost, failing which the earnest money deposit

will be forfeited.

8. The intending tenderers/bidders should bring

the weighing machine including electronic one.

9. No claim on the quality and quantity of the articles

will be admitted once the tender/bid is finalized.

10. The intending tenderers/bidders can inspect

the articles during the office hours on any working day

in the Office of the Deputy Collector (Excise),

Thanttanchavady, Puducherry.

11. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender in part or whole without assigning any

reason thereof. In case of any dispute, the decision of

the undersigned will be the final.

12. Once the tender/bid process is completed, no

claim related to the quantity and quality of the items

will be admitted.

13. Separate rate must be quoted for each item and

submitted in a single envelope. The tenderers who

quotes the overall highest total amount for all the items

will be chose as H1 and the tender will be awarded to

him/her.

14. GST will be levied on the sale of waste papers/

records/vouchers as per the rates prevailing at the time

of disposal/sale. Bidders registered under GST Act alone

shall participate in the tender.
