NOTIFICATION
Whereas, the Government is of the opinion that an
industrial dispute has arisen between the management
of M/s. Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and
Technology, Puducherry and the Rajiv Gandhi Engineering
College Thozhilalargal Sangam (Reg. No. 1516/RTU/
2007) (Affiliated with CITU), over charter of demands
in respect of wage revision, annual increment @ 10%
and payment of ex gratia amount of
15,000 for the
years 2021-22 and 2022-23, in respect of the matter
mentioned in the Annexure to this order;
And whereas, in the opinion of the Government,
it is necessary to refer the said dispute for adjudication;
Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority delegated
vide G.O. Ms. No. 20/9/Lab./L, dated 23-05-1991, of
the Labour Department, Puducherry, to exercise the
powers conferred by clause (d) of sub-section (1) of
section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central
Act XIV of 1947), it is hereby directed by the Secretary
to Government (Labour) that the said dispute be
referred to the Industrial Tribunal, Puducherry, for
adjudication. The Industrial Tribunal, Puducherry, shall
submit the Award within 3 months from the date of
issue of reference as stipulated under sub-section (2-A)
of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and
in accordance with rule 10-B of the Industrial Disputes
(Central) Rules, 1957. The party raising the dispute shall
file a statement of claim complete with relevant
documents, list of reliance and witnesses to the
Industrial Tribunal, Puducherry, within 15 days of the
receipt of the order of reference and also forward a copy
of such statement to each one of the opposite parties
involved in the dispute.
ANNEXURE
(i) Whether the industrial dispute raised by the
petitioners’ Union the Rajiv Gandhi Engineering
College Thozhilalargal Sangam (Reg. No. 1516/RTU/
2007) (Affiliated with CITU) against the management
of M/s. Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and
Technology, Puducherry, over charter of demands in
respect of wage revisions, annual increment @ 10%
and payment of ex gratia amount of 15,000 for the
years 2021-22 and 2022-23 is legal and justified?
If justified, to give appropriate direction?
(ii) To compute the relief, if any, awarded in terms
of money, if, it can be so computed.

management of M/s. Shenbaka Cars Private Limited,
Puducherry and Thiru R. Jaiganesh, over reinstatement
along with other benefits in respect of the matter
mentioned in the Annexure to this order;
And whereas, in the opinion of the Government, it
is necessary to refer the said dispute for adjudication;
Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority delegated

attendant benefits in respect of the matter mentioned
in the Annexure to this order;
And whereas, in the opinion of the Government, it
is necessary to refer the said dispute for adjudication;
Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority delegated

TENDER NOTICE
1. Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned
offering the rate per kilogram for the purchase of
old Library Books (Tamil/English) as mentioned below.
The rate should be quoted for each item separately.

2. The tenders in sealed covers superscribed as
“Tender for the purchase of old Tamil and English Trade
Books” should be addressed to the Principal, Government
Industrial Training Institute for Men, T.R. Pattinam,
Karaikal and sent to this office, so as to reach before
at 11.00 a.m. on 27-11-2024. The tenders will be opened
on the same day at 11.30 a.m. in the presence of the
tenderers who are present at that time. In case, the day
for tender opening date declared as public holiday for
any reason, the tenders will be received and opened at
11.30 a.m. on the next working day.
3. The intending tenderers should deposit an
amount of
500 (Rupees five hundred only) as earnest
money deposit. The earnest money deposit of the
unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded immediately after
the finalisation of the tenders.
4. The tenders received after the due date and time
will not be accepted under any circumstances.
5. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any tender without assigning any reason thereof.
Contravention of the rules of the tender notice will
result in the forfeiture of the earnest money deposit.
6. The successful tenderer shall arrange to weigh the
old books, pay the cost thereof along with the applicable
taxes and clear the items within 24 hours from the time
of the tender is over at his/her own risk and cost, failing
which his/her earnest money deposit will be forfeited.
7. No claim on the quality, quantity and value of the
said goods will be entertained, once the tender is
finalised.
8. The materials can be inspected during the office
hours on 26-11-2024 between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon.
9. In case of any dispute, the decision of the
undersigned will be the final.

The Office of the Superintendent of Police, Food Cell,
Puducherry, intent to sale about total 1000 litres of High
Speed Diesel Oil (HSD) in connection with Crime
No. 05/2024 of the Food Cell Police Station, Puducherry,
u/Cl 6 and 15 of Puducherry Motor Spirit and High
Speed Diesel Oil (Maintenance and Regulation of
Supply) Order 1985, u/s 7(1) a (ii) of Essential
Commodities Act, 1955.
Sealed tenders for the procurement of about 1000
litres of High Speed Diesel is invited from retail outlets/
industries/establishment on individuals on behalf of
Superintendent of Police, Food Cell Police Station,
Puducherry.
Terms and Conditions
(a) Sealed tender in the format below to be
submitted to the Superintendent of Police,
Puducherry, in a sealed cover with the superscription
of “Tender for Diesel Procurement” on or before on
09-12-2024 at 5.00 p.m.
(b) Tender to be accompanied with a Demand
Draft for 10,000 (Rupees ten thousand only) as
