NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 31 of the Puducherry

Value Added Tax Act, 2007 (Act No. 9 of 2007) and all other enabling

powers in this behalf, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, being

satisfied that it is necessary so to do in public interest, is pleased to

rescind the Notification issued vide G.O. Ms. No. 32, dated 03rd

November, 2021 of the Commercial Taxes Secretariat, Government of

Puducherry and Published in the Gazette of Puducherry, Extraordinary

Part-II, No. 43, dated 3rd November, 2021, save as respect things done

or omitted to be done before such rescission.



NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 31 of the Puducherry

Value Added Tax Act, 2007 (Act No. 9 of 2007) and all other powers

enabling in this behalf, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, being

satisfied that it is necessary so to do in public interest, is pleased to

levy the rate of tax payable under the said Act in respect of,—

(a) Petrol sold in :

(i) Puducherry region at 16.98%

(ii) Karaikal region at 16.99%

(iii) Mahe region at 15.79%

(iv) Yanam region at 17.69%

(b) Diesel sold in :

(i) Puducherry region at 11.22%

(ii) Karaikal region at 11.23%

(iii) Mahe region at 9.52%

(iv) Yanam region at 11.48%
