TENDER-CUM-PUBLIC AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of outdated

textbooks, used answer papers, old tamil newspapers,

old english newspapers and scrap items kept in

Government Schools of Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe and

Yanam regions in ‘as-is-where-is condition’ on

weighment basis (Rate per Kg).

2. The tenders in sealed covers should be

addressed to the Deputy Director of Education

(Elementary), Puducherry, duly superscribed on the

envelope as ‘Tender for sale of outdated textbooks,

used answer papers, old newspapers Tamil and

English and scrap items’ and should reach the

undersigned on or before 26-02-2025 at 10.45 a.m. The

tenders will be opened on the same day at 11.00 a.m.

in the presence of the bidders or their authorized

representatives who are present at the time of

opening of tender. If, the tender opening day happens

to be a public holiday, the same will be opened on the

next working day.

3. The rate should be quoted separately for

outdated textbooks, used answer papers, old Tamil

newspapers, old English newspapers and scrap items.

The rate will be valid for one year from the date of

sanction order.

4. Tenders received after the due date and time will

be summarily rejected. The bidder who have submitted

tender in sealed cover only permitted to participate the

public auction.

5. The bidders should deposit an amount of 50,000

(Rupees fifty thousand only) as earnest money deposit

(EMD) in cash to the Cashier, Directorate of School

Education, Puducherry.

6. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

bidders will be refunded after the tender sale is

completed/finalized.

7. The intending tenderers may inspect the outdated

text books during office hours on 24-02-2025 and

25-02-2025 (only two days) with prior permission of the

Principal/Headmasters

and

the

Storekeeper

in-charge concerned.

8. If, the highest tender amount offered by the bidder

is found to be not acceptable, the public auction will be

conducted on the spot, keeping the highest tender

amount as minimum bid amount.

9. The bidder should submit the following self-

attested copies of the documents along with their

tender. (i) Valid GST Certificate (ii) PAN Card (iii)

Aadhaar Card.

10. The successful bidder should clear the

accumulated items as and when required in all

Government Schools in Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe and

Yanam regions for a period of one year at his/her own

expenses, failing which the earnest money deposit will

be forfeited.

11. GST rate in force will be charged extra on the

amount finalized.

12. No claim about the quantity, quality and value of

the materials will be admitted once the tender is

finalized.

13. The undersigned reserves the right either to

accept or reject any tender or all without assigning any

reason thereof. The decision of the undersigned is the

final in case of any dispute.

TENDER NOTICE

1. Sealed tenders are invited for taking on lease of

silk cotton-7, mango trees-12, jack fruit trees-3, coconut

trees-4, tamarind trees-2, in the Industrial Estate,

Thattanchavady, Puducherry-605 009, for the period up

to 31-12-2025.

2. The tenders should reach the office of the Director

of Industries and Commerce, Industrial Estate,

Thattanchavady, Puducherry-605 009 on or before

25-02-2025 at 3.00 p.m. The tenders will be opened by

the Deputy Director of Industries and Commerce in this

office at 3.30 p.m. on the same day in the presence of

the tenderers who choose to be present.

3. Tenders received after the due date and time will

be rejected.

4. The intending tenderers should submit separate

tenders in sealed cover superscripted with the words:

“Tenders for the usufructs trees in the Industrial Estate,

Thattanchavady, Puducherry”.

5. The intending tenderers may inspect the usufructs

trees in the Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady, Puducherry,

at any time during the office hours.

6. The tender amount should be in whole of rupees

only. The tenders from the tenderers those who are in

arrears to this office as on date will not be accepted.

7. (a) The intending tenderers should deposit

an amount of 250 (Rupees two hundred and fifty only)

in cash as earnest money deposit alongwith their

tenders. The earnest money deposit will be refunded to

the unsuccessful tenderers as and when the tender

process is completed.

(b) The successful tenderer should remit the

balance of tender amount immediately, by deducting

the earnest money deposit amount.

the same, the successful tenderer would be allowed

to enjoy the usufructs.

8. If, the tender opening date i.e., on 25-02-2025

happens to be a public holiday, the tenders will be

received up to 3.00 p.m. and opened at 3.30 p.m. on

the next working day.

9. This office reserves the right to accept or reject

any or all the tenders without assigning any reason

thereof.

10. If, any dispute arises in this regard, the decision

of the Director of Industries and Commerce,

Puducherry, would be the final.

I state that my name is entered as ‘Sharmila’ in my

Elector’s Photo Identity Card, issued by Election

Commission of India, bearing No. UDJ0060764.

I state that my name is entered as ‘Sharmila. R’ in

my Transfer Certificate, issued by The Principal,

Annai Therasa Government Girls’ Higher Secondary

School, Karaikal-609 602, bearing Admission

No. 7487/02-03.

I state that my name is entered as ‘’in my

Family Ration Card No. 421374, issued by the

Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs,

Karaikal.

I state that as I have converted myself from Hindu

religion to Muslim religion, earlier to conversion, my

name has been called as ‘Sharmila’, after my

conversion, my name as ‘Sharmila’ ()’

Conversion Certificate vide N.C No. 78/2021, issued

by Notary Public, dated 03-02-2021.

I state that my name has been mentioned as

‘R. ’ in my Nikka Certificate vide No. 290,

issued by  Karaikal District
