NOTIFICATION

The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to make the

following further Amendments to the Rules “Grant of Opportunity Cost

to the Parents of Scheduled Caste Girl Students 1984” notified vide

G.O. Ms. No. 2/91-Wel.(SCW-II), dated 03-01-1991 of the Welfare

Secretariat, Puducherry and published in Gazette No. 1, dated 10-01-1991,

(hereinafter referred to as the said rules), namely:-



AMENDMENT

In the said rules in Rule 5, for the words and figures “

3,000

(Rupees three thousand only)”, the words and figures “ 6,000 (Rupees

six thousand only)” shall be substituted.

2. These orders shall be deemed to have come into effect from

the Academic year 2025-26.

3. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department

vide the I.D. No.E.Comp.No. 25628/FD/F5/A1/FC/24-25, dated 19-02-2025.
