ORDER
The Department of Revenue and Disaster Management has
framed the Puducherry Licensed Land Surveyors and Licensed Land
Draughtsman Rules, 2019 for engaging the Licensed Surveyors and
Licensed Draughtsman in all types of Survey works carried out in the
various Departments of the Government of Puducherry vide Notification
No. 5861/ST-1/DOSLR/DR&DM//2018-19, dated 24th January, 2020 of the
Directorate of Survey and Land Records, Department of Revenue and
Disaster Management, Government of Puducherry.

2. In exercise of powers conferred under sub-rule (h) of rule 6 of
the Puducherry Licensed Land Surveyors and Licensed Land Draughtsman
Rules, 2019, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to fix the
fees payable to the Licensed Land Surveyors for demarcation of fields
as detailed below :

3. The above prescribed fees payable to the Licensed Surveyors
by the Applicants for demarcating a field shall be collected by the
Licensed Surveyors directly from the Applicants and the requisite fee
receipt format circulated by the Directorate of Survey and Land Records,
Puducherry, shall be issued to the Applicants for acknowledging their
payment of fees.
4. The Standard demarcation charges payable to the Government
of Puducherry, shall also be collected at the concerned Taluk Offices,
prior to the processing of the demarcation Application.

5. The Licensed Surveyor/Draughtsman shall also be utilized in
the various Departments of Government, Undertakings of the Government,
etc., by stipulating their own conditions, if any, subject to the minimum
service charges prescribed by the Director of Survey as detailed below,
namely :-
(i) An amount of 25,000 is fixed as the monthly payment in
regard to a person engaged as the Licensed Surveyor/Draughtsman on
monthly basis (26 working days).
(ii) An amount of 5,000 is fixed as the weekly payment in
regard to a person engaged as the Licensed Surveyor/Draughtsman on
weekly basis (6 working days).
(iii) An amount of 1,000 is fixed as the daily payment in
regard to a person engaged as the Licensed Surveyor/Draughtsman on
daily basis.
