AUCTION NOTICE
The Petroleum Pump Dealers are hereby informed that the Diesel seized Crime No. 03/2024 of the Food Cell
Police Station. The same will be disposed off in as-is-where-is condition by Auction on 26-04-2025 at 11.30 a.m.
The seized diesel is kept in the premises of Palloor Police Station, Mahe, Puducherry.
Terms and Conditions
1. The sealed bids should be addressed to the Superintendent of Police, Food Cell Police Station duly
superscribing on the envelope as “Bids for purchase of abovesaid items should reach the Food Cell Police Station
on or before 10.00 a.m. on 26-04-2025. The bids will be opened at 11.30 a.m. on the same day in the presence of
bidders present if any, in the Chamber of the undersigned at No. 63, V Cross, Jaya Nagar (West), Reddiyarpalayam,
Puducherry-605 010 (rate quote per litre for each seized items of diesel separately if any variation).
2. The diesel auctioned would be awarded to the highest bidder on the spot.
3. The intending bidders should deposit an earnest money deposit of 500 (Rupees five hundred only) in
favour of “The Superintendent of Police, Food Cell Police Station, Puducherry” along with sealed bid. The earnest
money deposit of the unsuccessful bidders will be refunded on the same day soon after completion of Auction.
4. The successful bidder should pay the entire amount soon after the completion of the auction and should
clear the auctioned items at his/her own arrangement/cost on the same day, failing which the Station will not be
held responsible either for the safe custody or loss or damage of items once the auction is over.
5. GST/Sales tax will be charged extra as per the rate applicable, at the time of auction.
6. No claim on the quantity or quality of the items will be admitted once the auction sale is over.
7. The intending bidders can inspect the items of seized diesel during the office hours on any working day
but, on or before the auction date at Palloor Police Station, Mahe, with the permission of the undersigned.
8. The bids offered after the due date and time will be rejected.
9. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bid without assigning any reason thereof.
If, the auction date falls on a holiday, the auction will be held on the next working day.
10. Auction is subject to the discretion of the undersigned whose decision will be the final in case of any
dispute.
11. Along with the bid, a copy of any one of the following self-attested documents should be submitted.
(a) Aadhaar Card;
(b) Valid Family Ration Card/Smart Card;
(c) Valid Driving Licence.
