DEPARTMENT OF HINDU RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the provisio to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, read with the

Notification No. F.5/1/65-GP., dated 11th January, 1965 of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs,

New Delhi and in partial modification of the Notification issued in G.O. Ms. No. 36, dated 14th September, 2015 of

the Department of Hindu Religious Institutions, Government of Puducherry and published as a Supplement to the

Official Gazette No. 1 of the 5th January, 2016, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby makes the following

rules further to amend the Group "B" Non-Gazetted – Non-Ministerial post of Executive Officer Grade-II, Recruitment

Rules in the Department of Hindu Religious Institutions, Government of Puducherry, namely:—

1. Short title and commencement.— (i) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry, Office of

the Commissioner for Hindu Religious Institutions post of Executive Officer Grade-II, Recruitment (Amendment)

Rules, 2025.

(ii) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Amendment of the Schedule.— (a) In Column (4) of the Schedule annexed to the Government of

Puducherry, Office of the Commissioner for Hindu Religious Institutions, post of Executive Officer Grade-II,

Recruitment Rules, 2015.—

(i) for the Column heading "Pay Band and Grade Pay / Pay Scale", the Column heading "Level in the

Pay Matrix", shall be substituted; and

(ii) in the entries against the said Column, for the words, figures and symbols, "Pay Band-2

34,800 + Grade Pay 4,200", the words and figure "Level-6 in the Pay Matrix", shall be substituted.

(b) In Column (11), under the sub-heading "Absorption and Deputation".

(i) against the Serial No. II, for the words and symbols, "Pay Band-2 with Grade Pay 4,200",

the words and figure "Level-6 in the Pay Matrix", shall be substituted.

(ii) against the Serial No. III (ii), for the words and symbols, "Pay Band-1 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay

2,800", the words and figure "Level-5 in the Pay Matrix", shall be substituted.

Notification No. F.5/1/65-GP., dated 11th January, 1965 of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs,

New Delhi and in partial modification of the Notification issued in G.O. Ms. No. 37, dated 14th September, 2015 of

the Department of Hindu Religious Institutions, Government of Puducherry and published as a Supplement to the

Official Gazette No. 1 of the 5th January, 2016, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby makes the following

rules further to amend the Group "C" Non-Gazetted – Non-Ministerial post of Executive Officer Grade-III, Recruitment

Rules in the Department of Hindu Religious Institutions, Government of Puducherry, namely:—

1. Short title and commencement.— (i) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry, Office of

the Commissioner for Hindu Religious Institutions post of Executive Officer Grade-III, Recruitment (Amendment)

Rules, 2025.

(ii) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Amendment of the Schedule.— (a) In Column (4) of the Schedule annexed to the Government of

Puducherry, Office of the Commissioner for Hindu Religious Institutions, post of Executive Officer Grade-III,

Recruitment Rules, 2015.—

(i) for the Column heading "Pay Band and Grade Pay / Pay Scale", the Column heading "Level in the

Pay Matrix", shall be substituted; and

(ii) in the entries against the said Column, for the words, figures and symbols, "Pay Band-1

5,200-

20,200 + Grade Pay 2,800", the words and figure "Level-5 in the Pay Matrix", shall be substituted.

(b) In Column (11), under the sub-heading "Absorption and Deputation".

(i) against the Serial No. II, for the words and symbols, "Pay Band-1 with Grade Pay 2,800"

the words and figure "Level-5 in the Pay Matrix", shall be substituted.

(ii) against the Serial No. III (ii), for the words and symbols, "Pay Band-1 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay

2,400", the words and figure, "Level-4 in the Pay Matrix", shall be substituted.

the Commissioner for Hindu Religious Institutions, post of Inspector of Temples, Recruitment (Amendment)

Rules, 2025.

(ii) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Amendment of the Schedule.— (a) In Column (4) of the Schedule annexed to the Government of

Puducherry, Office of the Commissioner for Hindu Religious Institutions, post of Inspector of Temples, Recruitment

Rules, 2015.—

(i) for the Column heading "Pay Band and Grade Pay / Pay Scale", the Column heading "Level in the

Pay Matrix", shall be substituted; and

(ii) in the entries against the said Column, for the words, figures and symbols, "Pay Band-1

5,200-

20,200 + Grade Pay 2,400", the words and figure "Level-4 in the Pay Matrix", shall be substituted.

the Commissioner for Hindu Religious Institutions post of Deputy Inspector of Temples, Recruitment (Amendment)

Rules, 2025.

(ii) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Amendment of the Schedule.— (a) In Column (4) of the Schedule annexed to the Government of

Puducherry, Office of the Commissioner for Hindu Religious Institutions, post of Deputy Inspector of Temples,

Recruitment Rules, 2015.—

(i) for the Column heading "Pay Band and Grade Pay / Pay Scale", the Column heading "Level in the

Pay Matrix", shall be substituted; and

(ii) in the entries against the said Column, for the words, figures and symbols "Pay Band-1 5,200-

20,200 + Grade Pay 1,900", the words and figure, "Level-2 in the Pay Matrix", shall be substituted.

(b) In Column (11), under the sub-heading "Absorption and Deputation".

(i) against the Serial No. I, for the words and symbols "Pay Band-1 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay 1,900",

the words and figure "Level-2 in the Pay Matrix", shall be substituted.

(ii) against the Serial No. II a(ii), for the words and symbols "Pay Band-1 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay

1,800", the words and figure "Level-1 in the Pay Matrix", shall be substituted.
