NOTIFICATION

The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to make the

following Amendment for enhancement of managerial subsidy to Fair

Price Shop from

90,000 to 1,75,000 per annum per shop under the

Scheme Assistance to Consumers Co-operative.

AMENDMENT

In the pattern of Assistance under the Scheme Assistance to

Consumers Co-operative as Grant-in-aid, for the existing clause 8

pertaining to the managerial subsidy to Fair Price Shop per annum per

shop, the following shall be substituted, namely :

“8. Subsidy for Fair Price Shops run by Co-operatives

Institutions :

To meet the cost of salary of salesman, rent, electricity

charges and stationery an amount of 1,75,000 from General

fund per annum per shop will be given to the Fair Price Shop

Society concerned as Subsidy.”

2. The notification shall come into force on and from the date of

its publication in the Official Gazette of Government of Puducherry.

3. The other clauses in the said Scheme shall remain unaltered.

4. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department

vide their I.D. E.Comp. No. 40946/FC/FD/F5/A2/2025-26, dated 13-10-2025.
