DECLARATION

[under section 19 (1) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition,

Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013]

Whereas, the Government having been satisfied that an extent of 00.52.66 H.A.Ca of lands situated at No. 47 -

Thirukanji Revenue Village and an extent of 00.32.00 H.A.Ca of land situated at 46 - Odiampet Revenue Village in the

Puducherry District are required for public purpose, viz., “Construction of approach road for the newly constructed bridge

across River Sankaraparani connecting Odiampet and Thirukanji Villages in Puducherry.”

Now, therefore, the declaration under sub-section (1) of section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and

Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 is hereby made that the lands measuring to

an extent of 00.52.66 H.A.Ca situated at No.47- Thirukanji Revenue Village and an extent of 00.32.00 H.A.Ca situated at

46 - Odiampet Revenue Village, Villianur Taluk, Puducherry District, the detailed description of which are as follows, is

acquired for the said purpose:–

This declaration is made after hearing the objections of persons interested and due enquiry as provided

under Section 15 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and

Resettlement Act, 2013 (Act 30 of 2013).

The number of families likely to be resettled due to the Land Acquisition is one (1) for whom, given that the

affected family belongs to the Scheduled Caste, it is proposed to allot an alternate Free House Site /Housing Unit

through either the Adi Dravidar Welfare and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department or the Directorate of Survey and

Land Records.

A plan sketch of the lands may be inspected in the Office of the Deputy-Collector (Revenue) South-cum-

Land Acquisition Officer, Villianur on any working day.

A summary of the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme is appended.
