NOTIFICATION
The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to make the
following amendment for the enhancement of the rate of Day Scholar
Allowance and Hosteller Allowance to the Differently Abled Students
studying in various Educational Institutions of Union territory of
Puducherry under the Scheme “Rules for the Grant of Scholarship for
the Differently Abled Students, 2013” notified vide G.O. Ms. No. 1/2014/
SWD/1136, dated 10-07-2014 of the Under Secretary to Government
(Social Welfare), Puducherry as follows:–

AMENDMENT
The Rate of Scholarship mentioned vide column 3 and column 4 of
the table under clause 6(a), of “The rules for the grant of Scholarship
for the Differently Abled Students, 2013”, the following rate of Day
Scholar Allowance and Hosteller Allowance to the Differently Abled
Students studying in various Educational Institutions of Union territory
of Puducherry shall be substituted:-

2. The enhanced rate of Day Scholar Allowance and Hosteller
Allowance shall effect from the date of issue of this Amendment.
3. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department,
Puducherry vide their I.D.E.Comp.No. 8688/FD/F5/Al/FC/2025-26,
dated 18-11-2025.
