TENDER-CUM-PUBLIC AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of old,

obsolete, unserviceable articles like wooden items, old

bi-cycles, car tyres, steel items, etc., of Office of the

Deputy Collector (Excise), Puducherry, as detailed in the

Annexure to dispose the items “as-is-where-is-

condition”. The materials are kept in the Office of the

Deputy Collector (Excise), Puducherry.

Terms and Conditions

1. The intending tenderer may inspect the items kept

in the Office of the Deputy Collector (Excise),

Thattanchavady, Puducherry mentioned-above from

19-01-2026 to 20-01-2026 (from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m in

the above dates).

2. The tenderer may offer their overall tender rate

(not individual item-wise rate) for all the enlisted items

both in figure and words in the prescribed format in a

sealed cover.

3. The tender in sealed cover should be addressed

to the Office of the Deputy Collector (Excise),

Thattanchavady, Puducherry superscribed on the

envelope as Tender for “Disposal of Old, Obsolete and

Unserviceable Articles” and should reach this office on

or before 23-01-2026 at 2.30 p.m. The tender will be

conducted in the Office of the Deputy Collector

(Excise), Thattanchavady, Puducherry.

4. The tenders will be opened on 27-01-2026 at

4.00 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers who are

present at the time of opening. If the tender date

happens to be a public holiday, the same will be received

and finalized on the next working day at the same time.

The tender received after the due date and time will

summarily be rejected.

5. The intending tenderers / bidders should deposit

an amount of 2,000 (Rupees two thousand only) in

cash as earnest money deposit (EMD) at the time of

submitting the tender / bid. The earnest money deposit

amount for unsuccessful tenderers / bidders will be

returned immediately after the tender / bid process is

over / finalized. The tender / bid without earnest money

deposit will summarily be rejected.

6. The tenderer / bidder should submit with the

following self-attested photocopies, (i) Valid GSTIN,

(ii) PAN Card and (iii) Aadhaar Card.

7. If, any false representation is found during the

tender / bid process, the tender / bid submitted by

him / her / them will be cancelled and the earnest money

deposit will be forfeited.

8. If, any participants misbehave during the tender / bid

process, the tenderer(s) / bidder(s) will be removed from

the place, also their tenders will be rejected and earnest

money deposit will be forfeited.

9. The successful tenderer /bidder should remit the

tender /bidder amount to the Cashier, Office of the

Sub-Collector (Revenue) North, Puducherry, immediately

after finalization of the tender. Applicable rate of GST

will be charged separately on the tender amount as per

rules.

10. The entire unserviceable materials should be

removed within 24 hours after finalization of the

tender / bid at his / her own risk and cost. No claim on

the quantity and quality of the articles will be

entertained once the tender is finalized. This office will

not be held any responsibility for the items, once the

tender / bid is finalized.

11. The undersigned reserves the right to accept / reject

any or all the tenders / bidder without assigning any

reasons thereof, in the public interest.

12. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.
