NOTIFICATION

The 15th May, 2020

No.21/38/2015-2L/672.-Under Section 22(1) of the Building and Other Construction Workers

(Regulation of Empolyment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996 and rule 265 of Punjab Building and Other

Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2008 it is notified as

under:-

1.

The construction workers those who stood registered as on 01-09-2017 or were in the grace period of

one year and could not renew their membership with the Board, such workers were allowed to renew

their registration upto 31-03-2020.

2.

In view of the COVID-19 epidemic and continuous lockdown in the State of Punjab, such construction

workers who could not renew their registration from 22.3.2020 to 31.3.2020 are allowed to renew their

membership with the board upto 30.06.2020 on the same terms and conditions as mentioned in the

notification no. 21/38/2015-2L/220 dated 30.01.2020
