NOTIFICATION

The 4th May, 2020

No. 01/03/2020-C-1(4)/2135.-Whereas the Governor of Punjab is satisfied that it is necessary to

exempt the Punjab State Cooperative Agriculture Development Bank Ltd Chandigarh from proviso to to sub

clause (b) of clause (a) of sub Section (2) of Section 26 of the Punjab State Cooperative Societies Act, 1961 for

furthering the objects specified in the bye-laws of the Punjab State Cooperative Agriculture Development Ltd

Chandigarh.

Now, therefore in the exercise of the powers conferred by section 77 of the Punjab State Cooperative

Societies Act, 1961 (Punjab Act No 25 of 1961), the Governor of Punjab is pleased to exempt the Punjab State

Agriculture Development Ltd Chandigarh from the provision of proviso sub clause (b) of clause (a) of sub

Section (2) of Section 26 of the aforesaid Act, This exemption is being given for appointment of Sh Charandev

Singh Maan, as Managing Director, The Punjab State Cooperative Agriculture Development Ltd Chandigarh.
