NOTIFICATION

The 15th July, 2020

No. 9/12/2003-RC1/1484.-In partial modification in the Notification No. 9/12/2003-RC1/759, dated

12th September 2011 regarding the reconstitution of State Level Scrutiny Committee to verify the Social Status

Certificates, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to insert the following at the end of sub para (iv) of Para 2:-

“Director, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities, Punjab will immediately write to the Commissioner

of Police/Senior Superintendent of Police concerned for registration of the F.I.R. under the relevant

provisions of Indian Penal Code for false or spurious claim. A attested copy of the report of the

Vigilance Cell and State Level Scrutiny Committee will also be supplied to the Commissioner of Police/

Senior Superintendent of Police.

After registration of F.I.R., Commissioner of Police/ Senior Superintendent of Police will send a

copy of the F.I.R. to the Director Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities, Punjab.”
