NOTIFICATION
The 31st July, 2020
No. 5/24/2016/MEO/DA/1905.-In exercise of the Powers conferred by Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 3 of
the Delimitation of Wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972 (read with amended Rule 3 (1) (vi)), and all other
powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board
consisting of the following members for the purpose of delimitation of wards of Municipal Council, Mukerian
District Hoshiarpur :-
1.
Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf ;
2.
Member of Legislative Assembly representing the concerned Municipal Council, Mukerian
District Hoshiarpur;
3.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Mukerian;
4.
Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jalandhar;
5.
Administrator, Municipal Council, Mukerian ;
6.
Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Mukerian ;
7.
Sh. Ashwani Kumar S/o Sh. Dhian Singh, Ward No. 2, Ram Nagar Colony, Mukerian, Hoshiarpur.
(member nominated by the Government vide Notification No. 5/24/2016/MEO/DA/1876, Dated
31-07-2020 ). and
8.
Sh. Sher Singh S/o Lakhvir Singh, Chak Ala Baksh, Mukerian, Hoshiarpur. (member nominated
by the Government vide Notification No. 5/24/2016/MEO/DA/1876, Dated 31-07-2020 ).
2.
As per provisions of Rule 5(6) of the Delimitation of wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972, the
Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Hoshiarpur shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence, the members present
