NOTIFICATION

The 31th August, 2020

No. 5/82/2018-2lg4/1038 .-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 97 of

the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act 1976 (Punjab Act No. 42 of 1976), and in continuation of notification

No. 2/4/2014-5lg3/379043/1, dated the 31st December, 2014 the Governor of Punjab is pleased to order that

the clause (3) of the said notification dated 31st December, 2014, for the entrie (3), following entry shall be

substituted:-

“(3) The rate of tax on (1) non–residential (2) Labour quarters (3) paying guest (P.G) and (4)

hostel buliding under occupation of tenant(S) shall be seven and half percent of the annual rent of the

said property.”

This notification shall come into effect from 1st April, 2020.
